When it comes down to it, it's just important our babies get fed. Nobody looking at my now toddlers, knows whether I breastfed or not. I wanted so badly to be able to, but I have to admit that it was a huge relief for me when the LC I saw told me that I should just give it up because it wasn't working out for us. I gave it a solid shot for a full month, but my milk supply wasn't enough to feed my twins and I couldn't keep up with the schedule while dealing with Rylee's early issues as well.

P.S. I was going to read Kate's monthly post, but it got deleted??? Hope all is okay.Amberhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16507432917936364757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-50785614874817178292016-10-07T12:59:04.540-07:002016-10-07T12:59:04.540-07:00Late to comment but I enjoyed your post! Although I feel almost too normal now and am sometimes nostalgic for that curvy mom body. :-) Ah well not the worst problem to have.torthĂșilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07738803052167620020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-65800080687801454682016-10-03T06:14:36.994-07:002016-10-03T06:14:36.994-07:00Interesting list. When I started to work again, SB was 11 months and well able to go through her day without nursing. I'm so impressed by you and everyone who sticks with pumping for so long!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-38482540550960246182016-09-21T18:29:55.592-07:002016-09-21T18:29:55.592-07:00This is such a great and helpful list. I have so many friends who felt devastated when breastfeeding either didn't work out after a short time or whose pumping didn't work out later or who just ended when they felt ready, but still mourned this loss and felt less-than. I feel like this list would be so helpful to someone who needs a boost while transitioning to not breastfeeding. My son is almost 8 months old already. It fills my heart to know we both have our babies. I know you have lots of blog followers & blogger friends, but you played such a significant role in my life during the years I was trying to conceive. Even though we've never met, I still carry you in my heart. You affected my life in such profound ways with your brave & honest posts. So often I thought, if Jane can move forward so can I & here we are! I still think you should publish your blog. So glad you've kept it going. If there's a way to msg or email each other, I'd love to share a photo of my boy. All the best to you. Always. -your friend & a mom formerly known as "Eve" Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15260723824329854148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-81838928116954208362016-09-12T09:37:22.205-07:002016-09-12T09:37:22.205-07:00I'm like, NSC. I would that. Breastfeeding is HARD and you're right. I know one friend who had post natal depression who wanted to stop breastfeeding at four months and other mothers were giving her a hard time about it!dublinerinDeutschlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14804856792598440633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-31341733889036637072016-09-12T01:55:31.431-07:002016-09-12T01:55:31.431-07:00As a very breasted woman I was seriously hoping th...As a very breasted woman I was seriously hoping that Izzy would decrease the size of my boobs by breastfeeding. She actually made them larger so let's hope Wes can make them smaller!

I do think it is important to think about all of the things youcan do once you stop bf. For me, the two perks were not having to worry about pumping at work and being able to work out and not worry about nursing or pumping beforehand. It sounds like you made a nice transition- beware of the hormonal shifts that will happen for a few weeks though. They are sneaky!
Non Sequitur Chicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07268138421234170972noreply@blogger.com
