My pregnancy resulted in our first miscarriage. Her daughter will be 1 year old in July and I feel like her pregnancy/child is my marker for how long we've been trying at this. I almost panicked when I realized she's going to be 1. I remember during her pregnancy, she asked me to carry stuff for her. I felt like the Infertile mule and I felt like she was being so insensitive. However, after her own 2 pregnancy losses, she was in a happiness bubble. It has been really difficult-More difficult than a friend getting pregnant because a co-worker is there every day.Evehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15260723824329854148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-84350696766726017142013-04-30T18:51:32.568-07:002013-04-30T18:51:32.568-07:00wow this is a tough situation. you are totally rig...wow this is a tough situation. you are totally right that you are the only person it is obvious to. and you have to do what u need to do to protect yourself from that chat. i feel similar about some blogs - there are girls who had their first ivf at the same time as me, and they just out out if they are having a boy or a girl. it is tough. i also wish we could be pregnant together. I'm sorry you've had to keep sequestering yourself for all these obnoxious conversations, too. There should be "pregnancy free" rooms, like those "quiet cars" on a train. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-83797424638009949652013-04-30T07:13:47.796-07:002013-04-30T07:13:47.796-07:00The receptionist in my office is pregnant. She finally convinced him and scheduled her IVF a month before mine. Now she is 3 months pregnant. I am of course, still not.

It's been so tough to hear her talk about her pregnancy EVERY DAY even though I am happy for her. She has been through a lot, and is sensitive to my feelings. She even gave me tons of her leftover medication to use in my upcoming IUI cycle with donor sperm. As nice as she is, I still try to casually shut my office door whenever baby talk comes up. I hope I'm pregnant soon. I hope you are too.Gypsy Mamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13026496787029080243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2808830305872285145.post-60551471263464116892013-04-29T21:35:13.302-07:002013-04-29T21:35:13.302-07:00No not selfish at all! I usually hide in the washroom. No one notices. Is it selfish of me to wish that sometimes they would and then maybe tone it down a bit? Sorry you have to deal with this too.
